About Symposium:

This symposium will examine the technical hurdles and highlight case-studies of real-time applications and discuss transitioning new technologies into real systems. It will assemble researchers from interdisciplinary backgrounds to utilize practical innovative approaches to theory that will impact real-world applications. Simulations in the laboratory are not adequate for designing systems. Real-time testing on live systems is essential. Come hear firsthand from the experts who are building these systems and learn about the obstacles they are facing. Focusing on practical solutions instrumental in building successful systems, each session is devoted to a specific topic with invited talks by leading experts in the area, followed by peer-reviewed papers and posters and ending with an open discussion panel.

The full version of about 20% best papers and the extended abstracts of the rest accepted papers will be published in International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks(IJDSN) indexed by SCI. Two papers will be selected to receive S. Sitharama Iyengar best paper awards.
